Annan Paterson is the author and performer of DEEP CANYON. She has been acting for over 25 years in the San Francisco Bay Area and California’s Central Valley. She has studied classical and modern theatre as well as improvisational acting at the University of California, Berkeley and the Bennett Theatre Lab in San Francisco. In addition she has worked with teacher and director Richard Seyd.  She has been a reporter for Theatre Bay Area's Callboard Magazine.  Annan is founder of the grassroots arts organization "Theatre: Discuss", producing both performance art and film to promote community discourse. Annan is a 2003 County of Marin Martin Luther King Humanitarian Award Winner.
